Our Story
Abolombon is a co-operative organization formed by and among its members, established on 20th November 2020 through the initiative of Mr. Masud Karim, Mr. Majbah Uddin, Mr. Elias Ahmed, and Mr. Shahadat Hossain. Initially, a bank account was opened under the names of Mr. Shahadat Hossain and Mr. Jahidul Islam. The organization began its journey with 13 members holding a total of 17 shares. Over time, it has expanded to 43 members with 50 shares. Abolombon operates under a well-defined policy framework and is governed by a four-member Executive Committee, supported by three sub-committees that work collaboratively for the welfare and development of the organization. An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held every year, during which executive members are re-elected through the votes of the general members. The organization’s available funds are prudently invested in various business ventures, seasonal crops, and other profitable opportunities to ensure sustainable growth and member benefit.
